THE OFFER:


The price per activity includes instruction by a state-certified instructor with professional liability insurance and all necessary technical equipment for the activity (harness, ropes, descenders, rope ascent devices, overalls, helmets, lights, bag, waterproof containers, etc.).

 

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS:


The activities offered are open to everyone; however, depending on the activity and route, certain conditions apply: age limit, technical or physical level. To learn about these conditions, please refer to the route descriptions and ask your contact person for advice if needed (email/phone).

You must not have any medical contraindications to participating in the chosen activity (Caving, Canyoning, Hiking, Climbing, etc.).

Important: If you do not have a medical contraindication, but you are dependent on special medical care or treatments, or your health requires special attention, you must inform the office at the time of booking and the instructor before the activity begins.

For water activities: It is essential to know how to jump into the water and swim.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

Reservations are made by phone or email.

Participants are informed that their registration is not finalized until they receive a text message or email clearly confirming their activity.

Several payment methods are available: cash, check, bank transfer, Wero, or online booking by credit card.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

For advance payments, a refund may be considered:

• 100% refund if the activity is canceled 7 days or more before the scheduled date.

• 50% refund if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the activity.
• No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the activity.

Any cancellation by the client due to force majeure will result in a refund of all payments made, as well as non-payment for the service. The client must then provide supporting documentation (medical certificate or official document).
This cancellation and refund only applies to the person named on the supporting documentation, with the exception of minors, for whom the supporting documentation must be in the name of a legal guardian.

 

CANCELLATIONS BY CANYON ENVIE:

Canyon Envie reserves the right to cancel or interrupt an outing in the following cases:
• Insufficient number of participants (fewer than 3 participants)
• In case of risky weather conditions (risk of thunderstorms, heavy downpours, flooding, etc.).

Forced weather does not necessarily imply cancellation on our part, as some canyons are not considered risky and localized rain may not affect the location of the outing. If in doubt, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In the event of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund or a credit note.
No other compensation can be claimed for additional expenses incurred by you following your booking (accommodation, meals, travel, etc.).
Only the instructor is authorized to cancel the activity.

 

MEETING TIME AND DEPARTURE:

The time indicated in your activity details email is the DEPARTURE time for the activity. Canyon Envie reserves the right to depart without you if we haven’t heard from you 15 minutes after the time indicated in your booking. In this case, no refund or compensation will be given.

 

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CANYONING

Canyoning presents controlled but not negligible risks. To ensure everyone’s safety, it is essential to follow all safety instructions given by the instructor in charge of the activity. These instructions are given to participants at the beginning of the activity and at each obstacle requiring explanation.

Before any activity, it is important to report any health problems or pre-existing injuries that could affect the smooth running of the trip.

 

INSURANCE:

For your canyoning activity, each instructor is independent. He is covered by professional liability insurance. This insurance covers material, immaterial, or bodily damages caused to third parties due to errors, mistakes, or negligence.

In addition, for canyoning activities, each instructor has taken out “Personal Accident Insurance” with AN3S through its national union, SNAPEC (National Union of Climbing and Canyoning Professionals). Any of our clients benefit from this Personal Accident Insurance, which provides coverage (with coverage limits) in the event of an injury without a liable third party.

However, it is important to remember that canyoning remains a risky activity. The instructor cannot be held liable for any failure to comply with safety instructions. Each participant must therefore follow the instructions given by the instructors in charge of the activity. The instructors cannot be held responsible for incidents, accidents, or personal injuries resulting from an imprudent personal initiative.

 

DISPUTE – CONSUMER MEDIATION

In the event of a dispute between the Client and the Company, they will endeavor to resolve it amicably (the Client will send a written complaint to the professional or, where applicable, to the professional’s Customer Relations Department). In the absence of an amicable agreement or if the professional fails to respond within a reasonable period of one (1) month, the consumer Client, as defined in Article L.133-4 of the French Consumer Code, has the option of contacting, free of charge, if a disagreement persists, the competent mediator listed on the register of mediators established by the Consumer Mediation Evaluation and Control Commission pursuant to Article L.615-1 of the French Consumer Code, namely:

IMAGE RIGHTS:

Instructors may sometimes take photos during the activity. These photos are given to participants at the end.

However, we reserve the right The use of photos and videos taken during activities for communication and promotional purposes (brochure, website, Instagram, or Facebook) is prohibited unless the participant expressly requests otherwise in writing before the activity.

In accordance with French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, concerning information technology, data files, and civil liberties, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete information concerning you.

 

BREAKAGE AND LOSS OF ITEMS DURING THE ACTIVITY:

In general, we strongly advise against bringing precious or expensive items into canyoning. We advise against keeping jewelry and valuables on you, as they can break or be lost during the activity.

You may sometimes request to bring your GoPro, waterproof camera, or mobile phone for photos. These items will be taken into the canyon at your own risk. Canyon Envie cannot be held responsible in any way for the loss or damage of these items. Breakage of a personal item during the descent. For phones, ensure you have a completely waterproof case, and for GoPros, bring a secure attachment. Canyon Envie will not lend any waterproof cases to avoid being held liable in case of an incident.

Whenever possible, instructors will take photos, which will be provided free of charge at the end of the activity.

 

THEFT:

• Canyon Envie accepts no responsibility for theft or loss of equipment in your vehicles.

• However, we recommend that you do not leave valuables in your vehicles during your activity, as the parking lots are not supervised.

 

LEPTOSPIROSIS

Engaging in many water sports, whether in whitewater or still water (swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning), can lead to exposure to bacteria present in the water, such as leptospirosis. This potentially serious illness is caused by water pollution from runoff upstream on contaminated land. contaminated by animal urine.
