Exploring the Natural Environment
Are you an instructor, a professional or federal-level guide, or just curious? Why not take a course and learn more about the natural environment of canyons?
During a canyon descent or along a riverbank, come learn more about the geology of the Vercors, how canyons form in karst environments, and how to identify the flora and fauna you encounter. We’ll also discuss the impact of this activity and ways to minimize it.
Federal and professional training programs are placing increasing emphasis on knowledge of the natural environment for sports instructors. These outings provide an opportunity to come away with ideas for activities and plenty of stories to share during your own outings.
These outings are also suitable for school settings, student councils, seminars, and more. Feel free to contact us to learn more.
Are the dates or schedules not convenient for you? Feel free to contact me so we can work together to plan a workshop lasting two days or more, depending on my availability.
I can also travel to Annecy, Haute-Savoie, Savoie, Ain, Hautes-Alpes, and other areas…

Our independent canyoning course helps you develop the technical knowledge and practical skills needed to take a more active role in canyon descents alongside experienced canyoners. Becoming fully independent takes time, practice and experience, so completing a short course does not automatically guarantee full autonomy.
