Furon full day canyon

Description: Just outside Grenoble, this canyon is both accessible and comprehensive. The river has two distinct sections that can be explored by canyoning. The upper section, very narrow and aquatic, makes for a fun and scenic descent.

The lower section, more open, offers a varied route that allows you to discover the many facets of the activity, with the possibility of bypassing certain obstacles.

The combination of the two makes for a sporty and varied route, ideal for challenging yourself and experiencing a day full of adventure.

You will go down rappelling beautiful waterfalls, make jumps of varying heights, plus a few surprises scattered along the way. The wide-open river allows you to bypass most of the obstacles, making it a route adaptable to everyone’s level and preferences.

Activity details:

At the parking lot, your instructor will provide you with all the necessary equipment (more information on the equipment provided and what you need to bring can be found here).

We’ll then hike for 30 minutes to the canyon entrance.

Then the descent begins. On the agenda: rappels of up to 10 meters, jumps of varying heights (jumps are never mandatory), and natural water slides.

Once finished, we’ll return to the parking lot in 10 minutes. Afterwards, we’ll have a picnic lunch, then drive to the upper section for the afternoon.

The canyon is accessible in 10 minutes. There will be several scenic rappels, a zip line, numerous jumps (never mandatory), and fun natural water slides.

The return hike to the parking lot takes 45 minutes.
